NFL DFS Optimizer for DraftKings
The Green Light NFL DFS optimizer builds optimal DraftKings lineups from our own projections on every slate — main, afternoon, primetime and showdown. Lock the players you want, exclude the ones you don't, set your stacking preference, and generate lineups that respect the salary cap and real correlation rules instead of just chasing points.
How the DraftKings NFL lineup optimizer works
- 1. Pick a slate. Every DraftKings NFL slate is imported automatically with live salaries and positions.
- 2. Set your rules. Lock core plays, exclude injured or low-usage players, and choose how you want to stack the quarterback.
- 3. Generate. Lineups come back with projected points, salary used and a correlation grade.
The rules built into every optimal lineup
- Full salary usage — no more than $300 left on the table on classic slates.
- Maximum four players from any single game.
- Three or more players from one team only when that team's quarterback is in the lineup.
- No quarterback paired with a running back from his own team.
- Both sides of a game represented, with defenses and cheap plays exempt.
- Showdown captain minimums so you avoid full punts in the multiplier spot.

NFL DFS optimizer FAQ
What does the NFL DFS optimizer do?
It builds optimal DraftKings NFL lineups from our projections, respecting the salary cap, your locks and exclusions, and our correlation rules for stacking.
Where do the projections come from?
Player props and game lines are converted into expected values and simulated against exact DraftKings full-PPR scoring, then blended with a second projection source on import.
Does it support showdown and captain mode?
Yes. Showdown slates get captain-mode builds with their own salary floor, captain-quality checks and per-team limits.
What is the correlation grade?
Every generated lineup is graded A+ through D based on stacking, bring-backs, game concentration and uncorrelated pieces, so you can see how a build is put together at a glance.
